Serious training ride
A more challenging course and often the fastest ride. Variable road conditions, rolling hills. Word of caution: this can be a drop or no-drop ride. There are often several groups riding from WCC so ask around. Paceline skills are a must and drafting is the key to recovery and holding on. A good interval ride to raise lactate threshold HR/power levels.
