Gulf Coast Trails Awareness Week will be the week of September 20th with Gulf Coast Trails Awareness Day September 24th for the schools to get the youth involved and have the opportunity to join in the Junior Partnership!! Please let us know of trails that will be used that week that we can promote!!!
July 2010 we had the opportunity to kayak to Deer Island and explore the island. We hope to have Deer Island designated as an official blueway and available for coastal residents as well as tourists to enjoy.
Members of the Partnership enjoyed a educational and relaxing float down Red Creek the beginning of July. The float took about 4 hours, treatment but can be done in as little as 2.
